Latest news and happenings of the Conroi.

04/04/2008 - Fools War is shaping up to be a big affair.  Our cousins to the North in Atlantia are bringing in a large contingent, our cousins to the south in Trimaris are coming up and many Meridians old and new plan to be there.

03/28/2008 - Gulf Wars was a big event for the Conroi and its members.  Lord Ingolf was invited into the Argent Rose, Sable Company.  The Conroi tournament was won by Sir Thomas of Meridies and Lady Chantelle of Trimaris.  Sir Wulfric stepped up as KEM to Meridies.

02/11/2008 - The Florida State Fair demo went off great.  Thanks again to Trimaris for a job well done.

12/18/2007 - With the pulication of the new society handbook, Mounted Combat went from being a special experimental activity to an official activity.  Thanks to all involved.  The Conroi is very proud of this and our role in its development and fruition.

12/18/2007 - Congratulations to Sir Gunther for being chosen His Majesty Maximillian's "King's Lancer."

12/18/2007 - Trimarian Interkingdom Equestrian Tourney was a big hit.  Congrats to Sir Richard and Mistress Ellawin for earning the Most Chivalrous and most courteous commendations.  Thanks to our Trimarian cousins for a fun time.

11/25/2007 - Congratulations to Sir Richard and Lady Elisenda for their inclusion into the Argent Rose, Sable Company at Fools War.

07/18/2007 - The 1st Annual Trimaris Interkingdom Equestrian Tourney will be held in the Barony of Oldenfeld, details to follow. 

07/18/2007 - The Conroi was in charge of Gulf Wars Equestrian this year.  Thanks to Mistress Ellawin and Earl Sir Richard for making this such a sucess.  Thanks to Ansteorra and Trimaris for helping us put on the mounted combat melee before the field battle.   

02/01/2007 - Expect some changes to the Conroi website in late spring. 

02/01/2007 - Happy New Year.  2007 Schedule has been published.  The January workshop included a number of our Trimarian friends.  The Conroi is ramping up for hosting of Gulf Wars.  Expect some great things to happen there.

11/20/2006 - Mistress Ellawin was selected King's Lancer for HRM Gunther at Castle Wars.  Congratulations your excellency!

11/20/2006 - Castle Wars was a success.  Horses were limited due to technical difficulties, but much was accomplished.

11/20/2006 - Back from Hastings!  Check out the photo section for lots of photo's and video.

11/20/2006 - Mistress Yasmeena is the new Deputy Marshal for Equestrian.  We look forward to good things coming from her.  We also wish to thank Isolde for all she did for the program these past number of years.

09/28/2006 - The October 21st workshop is back on!

08/20/2006 - The first Conroi inter-kingdom workshop was a wonderful success.  Thanks to our Trimarian cousins for making the long journey.

06/20/2006 - The June workshop saw two more horses authorized for the experimental heavy mounted combat.  Conroi members were able to hone their skills as well.

05/22/2006 - Congratulations to Ingolf in stepping up as the Kingdom Equestrian Officer of Meridies.  Many thanks to the THLady Svana for all her work, dedication and help in making much of this happen.

05/21/2006 - May workshop authorized two additional horses for experimental mounted combat activities, 6 additional riders and one marshal.

05/01/2006 - Sir Wulfric took Lord Logan as a squire at Hot April Knights.

04/09/2006 - Despite rain and weather, Fools War equestrian was successful.  Many thanks to Mistress Ellawin and Earl Sir Richard for all the hard work in pulling the event off.

03/28/2006 - The first Conroi Rae Fen mounted tournament was held at Gulf Wars.  Congratulations to Lord Logan Silveraxe who won an 11th century saddle tree constructed by Sir Richard of Rae Fen.

03/28/2006 - A new division of mounted combat has been approved as an experimental activity!  This is a dream come true for many involved in SCA equestrian activities.  Look for information, pictures and updates over the next several days.

03/25/2006 - The April 15th workshop is cancelled because of conflicts.

03/07/2006 - A couple of Conroi members participated in the 1069 live steel event.  Updated photo gallery with event pictures.

01/26/2006 - Updated the Events section with links to the 1069 live steel event.

01/23/2006 - The saddle/tack workshop occurred this past weekend.  Sir Richard completed the bulk of two saddle tree's including a 14th century design.

10/23/2005 - Added pictures of the workshop.  What great fun.  Had about 20 people throughout the day and about 9 horses.  Rick & Karen's farm is breathtaking.
